Conway Elementary School & City of Conway Awarded Prestigious Moon Tree from NASA
Conway Elementary School in partnership with the City of Conway have been awarded a prestigious Moon Tree from NASA. This Moon Tree will serve as the first Moon Tree of record in the state of South Carolina. The tree was aboard the Artemis 1 space craft which left the Earth on November 16, 2022, orbited the moon for 25 and ½ days, and traveled 270,000 miles from Earth before splashing down on December 11, 2022. Amazon has entered into an agreement to construct a Same-Day Delivery facility in North Myrtle Beach. Same-Day Delivery facilities allow Amazon to fulfill, sort, and deliver orders all from one site—making the entire process of delivering customer packages even faster.
