The fair will feature a range of organizations offering valuable resources and services for seniors, including: • Palmetto Goodwill • Neighbor to Neighbor • Catholic Charities • Palmetto Project • Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments The vendors will provide information and assistance on topics such as: • Paid work experience and training opportunities for individuals aged 55 and over. • SNAP and Medicaid application assistance. • Savings on home internet expenses with the Affordable Connectivity Program • Senior food box program, providing monthly boxes of food staples for those aged 60 and up. • Transportation assistance • Free health classes • Information about the Carolina Hearing Aid Bank • Support, information, and education for family caregivers • Health insurance counseling • Resources to improve the quality of life and care for those in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
