UWHC Partners with Tidal Creek
United Way of Horry County and Tidal Creek Brewhouse Partner for “Basics and Brew” Fundraising Events
United Way of Horry County’s Education Department is teaming up with Tidal Creek Brewhouse for a month-long series of exciting and engaging fundraising events to support early education and kindergarten readiness in Horry County.
Throughout February, “Basics and Brew” will bring the community together for three Monday night events at Tidal Creek Brewhouse, where attendees can have fun while supporting United Way’s Early Education Program and The Basics, a research-based initiative designed to give children the foundational skills needed for success in school and life.
Event Schedule:
February 10 – Karaoke for a Cause
Sing your heart out for a good cause! Whether you’re a shower singer or a star performer, this fun-filled karaoke night will let guests showcase their talent while raising funds for early education programs. Prizes will be awarded for Best Performance, Funniest Performance, and Best Group Performance.
February 17 – Brew & Music Bingo Night
It’s game night with a purpose! Attendees will enjoy multiple rounds of bingo, win exciting prizes, and support The Basics initiative. Funds raised from bingo card sales and raffle entries will go directly toward early learning programs.
February 24 – Trivia Night
Test your knowledge in a high-energy trivia competition featuring general knowledge, pop culture, and local trivia! Guests can form teams, play for fun prizes, and contribute to United Way’s mission of ensuring all children in Horry County enter kindergarten prepared to succeed.
Each event will be held from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Tidal Creek Brewhouse, located at 3421 Knoles St. Myrtle Beach, with a portion of every pint sold during the events donated to United Way of Horry County. Attendees will also have the opportunity to contribute through raffles, donations, and friendly competitions.
