The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach Invites the Community to Honor Beloved Pets
The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach invites you to join us for Pets Light Up Our Lives, a heartwarming event celebrating the pets who bring light into our lives—past, present, and future.
Taking place on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Dockside Village Amphitheater in Barefoot Landing, the evening will feature a Blessing of the Animals and Tree Lighting Ceremony beginning at 6:30 PM. This cherished annual tradition is a special way to honor your furry friends and support the animals in need within our community.
Participants can sponsor lights to symbolize their cherished companions:
- RED for pets who are still with us
- WHITE for pets who have passed
- BLUE for pets currently in our shelter awaiting loving homes
“Pets Light Up Our Lives is a beautiful way to celebrate the unconditional love pets bring into our lives while supporting the vital work of our shelter,” said Meaghan Pitman, marketing manager for The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach. “Whether you’re honoring a cherished companion, remembering a beloved pet, or lighting the way for a shelter animal awaiting their forever home, your participation makes a difference.”
Lights are $10 each, with one pet name per light. Lights can be purchased through December 11, 2024, to be included in the ceremony. Participants will also receive a commemorative program mailed after the event. To sponsor a light, visit https://humanesocietynmb.org/
