Clemson's Baruch Institute of Coastal Ecology 50th Anniversary Seminar Series
Thursday, August 23 at the Georgetown County Public Library will be the second installment of Clemson's Baruch Institute of Coastal Ecology 50th Anniversary Seminar Series. Each session will be held from 10-11 am at the library, 405 Cleland Street, Georgetown, SC. Renowned professors will be discussing exciting topics ranging from the american alligator to studies on the coastal plain. We hope you are able to attend these enriching lectures. August 23: Dr. Thomas Rainwater, Research Scientist (Title: A Lowcountry Treasure: the American Alligator in Coastal South Carolina) September 27: Jack Whetstone, Associate Professor Emeritus (Title: Coastal Extension Programs in Aquatic Invasive Species and Aquaculture) October 25: Dr. George Askew, Vice President, Public Service and Agriculture (Title: The Baruch Institute: an important player in the South Carolina coastal plain)
