Delta 9 THC Now Available at CANNABETTER.FARM:
Horry County’s FIRST locally-owned, veteran-led dispensary
now offering potent, LEGAL hemp-based Delta 9 edibles
made with cannabis’ active ingredient!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- Myrtle Beach, SC: CANNABETTER.FARM Dispensary in Forestbrook has announced that it has added an exciting new selection of Delta 9 THC edible products – hard candies, gummies, and syrups – to its product offerings.
Many people find the effects of Delta 9 highly enjoyable. Like all of the products sold by CANNABETTER.FARM, the products are completely legal under the 2018 Farm Bill.
“Delta 9 is, of course, the active ingredient in marijuana,” says Matthew Campbell, owner of CANNABETTER.FARM. “The question we get most often, frankly, is How is this legal?”
The answer to this question involves a little math, as Campbell explains. “The Farm Bill allows for products with less than .3% Delta 9 THC, as long as they are derived from hemp, rather than from marijuana,” he says. “All the Delta 9 THC in our hard candies, gummies, and syrups is derived from hemp.”
In a state where recreational or medical marijuana is legal, a typical “serving” or “dose” of Delta 9 THC is about 10 milligrams. “Our hard candy lozenges weigh in at about 6 grams each,” says Campbell. “Six grams multiplied by .3% equals 18 milligrams. That means our lozenges weigh in at 12 milligrams apiece! That’s only two thirds of the legal limit, but it’s still a fairly large ‘serving.’ And these products are exactly what you might get in Colorado or California.”
Gummies and syrups sold by CANNABETTER.FARM are made with different formulations but follow the same rules, he adds. “Our gummies are 10 milligrams each, and our syrups pack a whopping 150 milligrams in each bottle, for personalized dosing at any desired amounts.”
Since celebrating the grand opening of its flagship store in Forestbrook last December, just three months ago, CANNABETTER.FARM has become known for unique, highly concentrated, private-label cannabis products. Locally owned and veteran-led, the dispensary sells oils, topicals, concentrates, flower, and pre-rolls made with a variety of hemp and cannabis derivatives, including Delta 8, Delta 9, CBC, CBD, CBG, CBN, and THC-O -- all completely legal under the 2018 Farm Bill.
“Our products are made in the U.S.A. – in the case of the Delta 9 gummies, in Colorado – with extract from non-GMO hemp, and they’re made to our exact specifications, according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations enforced by the FDA,” says Campbell proudly. Each product is tested and certified to be free of pesticides, heavy metals, and microbial contamination, he adds. “And they’re the least expensive per milligram of any product sold in Horry County, meaning we truly do offer the best value for your money.”
Customers are already singing the praises of the products, and returning to the store to purchase more, according to Campbell, who says gummies are exceptionally popular. Each gummy measures a hefty 1”x ¾” so they’re easy to cut in half or even into thirds. They’re somewhat bitter, because cannabis in its natural state is bitter, but he says most folks learn to enjoy the flavor -- and the bitterness helps discourage binge snacking on the little morsels.
“For many, the effect is a gentle ‘high,’ and a sense of well-being, ease, and contentment,” Campbell concludes. “Our D9 gummies are the best quality available in Horry County -- maybe anywhere!”

About Hemp and the Farm Bill
In December of 2018, the 2018 Farm Bill was signed into law. It removed hemp, defined as cannabis (Cannabis sativa L.) and derivatives of cannabis with extremely low concentrations of the psychoactive compound Delta 9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) from the definition of marijuana in the Controlled Substances Act. The USDA’s final rule, effective on March 22, 2021, provided regulations for the production of hemp in the United States. These new laws legalized production and shipment of all compliant hemp and hemp-derived products.
CANNABETTER.FARM Ltd. Co. is the venture of a father-son team. Matthew Campbell, Sr. was raised in the Myrtle Beach area, and his son, Matthew Campbell, Jr., was born at Grand Strand Medical Center and is a combat veteran. The seeds for CANNABETTER.FARM were planted when they tried finding quality hemp and CBD products for a family member with a serious medical condition that could only be relieved by cannabis. Unable to find affordable products that were strong and of consistent quality, they began developing their own. They soon realized that they could create highly concentrated products of the finest quality at a reasonable cost, and CANNABETTER.FARM was born. We officially launched our flagship dispensary at Forestbrook Village (Food Lion) Shopping Center in Myrtle Beach, SC on December 14, 2021. Visit our website at www.CANNABETTER.FARM!
