About Us

WLSC Tiger Radio (1240 AM/106.7 FM) is owned and operated by Banana Jack Murphy Productions LLC. In 2007, my wife Barb Krumm and I formed our company and took over the day to day operations of WLSC Tiger Radio. Our format is classic country and our target demo is Adults 35-64.

One of the most popular programs on WLSC Tiger Radio is Down at the Barbershop, which debuted in April 2016. This weekly live radio show airs Fridays 10 am - Noon and originates from the WLSC Tiger Radio studios located inside Loris Barbershop, 4011 Meeting Street in Loris. Down at the Barbershop is also a television program which airs locally on HTC Cable Channel 4 (58,000 households).

Pure American Country, Cowboy Corner, Weekend in the Country, Clear out West, The Tim White Bluegrass Show, Chronicle of the Old West, Our American Stories and The Banana Jack Murphy Show are other popular programs that air on WLSC Tiger Radio and TigerRadio.com

WLSC Tiger Radio is also a member of the Clemson Tigers Network and the South Carolina Radio Network. Local high school sports are also broadcast.
