About Us
Shoreline is a nonprofit organization that provides family and individual treatment services to those who suffer from the disease of addiction, as well as those who are at risk for substance use disorders. We also provide community education and
prevention services.
Helping residents of Horry County for over 35 years, our compassionate, highly trained and certified staff are here to provide our clients with the kind of care and commitment that we would ask for our own loved ones.
We are accredited by The Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), licensed by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control and funded, in part, by federal and state funds administered by the South Carolina Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services (DAODAS).
We know that paths to recovery are different for everyone…Shoreline Behavioral Health Services’ practice is to offer individualized care based on a person’s severity of symptoms, personal preferences and level of readiness. Individualized plans of care are designed for each client to address his or her treatment needs. At Shoreline we work to change lives and build hope every day. We have come to believe that action really can speak louder than words! We utilize a variety of experiential approaches, including our ropes course, art, music and mindfulness techniques. This approach helps to integrate the positive changes in thinking and behavioral that treatment helps to bring about.
