About Us
Grand Strand Miracle Leagues is a nonprofit organization that empowers individuals with disabilities ages 4 and up to thrive through adaptive sports and recreation. Through free year-round programs, school day experiences, and community events serving Horry and Georgetown Counties, we create inclusive spaces where participants build confidence, develop skills, form friendships, and experience a true sense of belonging.
What began as a baseball league nearly 25 years ago has grown into a year-round organization offering baseball, soccer, golf, cheer, basketball, tennis, flag football, dance, safety around water swim lessons, and school day programs. More than 350 athletes participate annually, with programs designed to meet individuals where they are and support their goals in a fun, encouraging environment.
Grand Strand Miracle Leagues is committed to removing barriers to participation through accessible facilities, sensory supports, adaptive equipment, and trained volunteers. Every program is offered at no cost to participants and families, with program shirts and equipment provided.
At Grand Strand Miracle Leagues, sports are about more than the game. They are a pathway to movement, friendship, confidence, and community, creating places where individuals with disabilities and their families are welcomed, supported, and celebrated.
