“Ghost Stories with Elizabeth Robertson Huntsinger” The Horry County Museum will offer a free program on local ghost stories on Saturday, October 11th at 1 PM. Storyteller Elizabeth Robertson Huntsinger will share the eerie histories of long-ago Georgetonians, revealing how their lives made them legendary - and why their deaths made them ghosts. Elizabeth Robertson Huntsinger is the author of Ghosts of Georgetown, Georgetown Mysteries & Legends and two mysteries - Waterline and soon-to-be-published South Island Road. Huntsinger lives in Georgetown with her husband Lee. Her walking tour, Ghosts of Georgetown Lantern Tours, is in Georgetown's waterfront Historic District. She also conducts a ghost tour and historic house tours at Hopswee Plantation. The program is free to the public and will be held in the Museum’s McCown Auditorium located at 805 Main Street, Conway, SC 29526. For more information, call 843-915-5320 or email hcg.museum@horrycountysc.gov. To view a full list of scheduled programs, visit the museum website at www.horrycountymuseum.org.
