DESCRIPTION:Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) will host a Veterans Day recognition event on Thursday\, November 10 for students and employees who are active-duty military and Veterans. \n\n \n\nA special Dedication Ceremony of the Grand Re-Opening of the HGTC Veterans Resource Center will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the new location on the Conway Campus.\n\n \n\nThe College serves approximately 200 Veteran students and honors those who have sacrificed for our nation. \n\n \n\nThe Veterans Resource Center is located on the Conway Campus and provides a comfortable atmosphere where Veterans or active military members can study\, use computers\, access Veteran resources\, and visit with other Veterans. \n\n \n\nThe Veterans Resource Center is also a meeting place for the HGTC Student Veterans Organization\, which is open for current and future student veterans who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces\, active-duty\, National Guard\, or Reserve.
